An achievable goal?

Lavender Lassie Roses
Best to set an achievable goal, yes? Today I hope to finish clearing the top area of the Wattle Woods. Just the top area - should be achievable. I can do this. Have already gone for a walk with my camera and seen more Alkanet to be dug out. Have my little hoses on the Camellias by the glass-house.
Two hours later...
Hmm. I'm not feeling super energetic. But no matter - have cleared two barrowfuls. Inside for a wee break, then back out to keep going. I must keep going, or at least try to.
Worry?
Non-Gardening Partner always asks me why I worry about my garden. 'Worry ' is not quite the word. I think, I puzzle, I plan, I try, I despair... Hmm... I guess I might worry a bit!
Random thoughts as I've been cleaning up below the glass-house. Lavender Lassie is a good rose. She flowers well in semi-shade, and doesn't make a fuss. The Camellias could do with a neater trim, to make them look more shapely.
At least my garden is very green. I love green. Green is the greatest gift in the colour world.

Blue Cornflowers
Monday 15th December
Another two hours spent behind the glass-house digging out - have a guess? Begins with A... You got it! Alkanet. Can get a bit sick of grabbing dull green Alkanet (it stains my hands a little).
I know I don't get all the roots out, but that's OK. The bees will enjoy the blue flowers when the plants resprout in autumn. I also divided and replanted some Renga Renga by the path. A generous little plant, with pretty early summer flowers.
Tuesday 16th December
Have had a moochy day, actually went back to bed for a snooze. Feeling very dozy-lazy, not sure what I feel like doing (apart from sleeping). More Alkanet is waiting, and more edges need trimming.
But at least I've put my little hoses on the Camellias again. I am being thoughtful. The garden needs watering, but the big irrigation pump is being fixed, so unfortunately there is no whooshy overnight watering possible. Rain would be nice.
Have attached some pretty pictures to put some colour back into my day. Yeay!
