Red Maple
I'm OK if trees are slow-growing in my garden - as long as they don't sulk. This beautiful red Maple was planted in the Wattle Woods a long time ago. But I've been good - I've remembered to water and feed it.

And luck has been on its side. too. Almost the huge heavy wattle trees have crashed down since it was planted, but they have all missed it. Phew! A survivor, for now, at least, with such a beautiful autumn colour display.
