Hazel Gate
This is the garden gate in the Leyland shelter hedge which leads from the Moosey garden into the Hazelnut Orchard. Non-Gardening Partner built it for me in 2003.
Gate in the Trees
The right-of-way bends and dives through the double row of trees, so that the southerly storms are blocked from whistling through the gap. Through the gate you'll see an avenue of rose archways.
Orchard Roses
Hazel Gate is part of a marked and well suggested route from the house - through the rose pergola, across Middle Bridge, through Middle path and straight in front of you (hidden in the hedge) - there it is, Hazel Gate. Sounds like a children's story, doesn't it!
