Freedom Gardening

The Stakes are High...
I like the way I've been gardening recently. It's simple - I'm not allowed to write any scary lists of things that desperately need doing. And as a result I'm happier, and work longer, more varied hours. My garden benefits! Who would have though it so simple?
Freedom Gardening is Fun!
Freedom Gardening is fun! I drift around the garden doing lots of disjointed yet necessary things. The mental side of the gardener (me) is sharp and challenged. I stay alert and use my eyes more. I also walk many more metres in the course of a day - so my body fitness is better.
I find I'm attending to more of the little tasks than I ever did before, and I'm even finishing bigger tasks. Ha! In the bad old days this was unheard of...
New garden plans still pop into my head as I wander about with the wheel-barrow. But who needs their ideas itemised in a garden list to feel creative and innovative? Not me.

No Lists, No Pressure...
Instant Decisions...
I've been able to make instant decisions, give myself immediately sensible advice about a problem area, and fix things without any preconceived notions.
It's true. Join me! Remove all the 'to-do' lists from your days and enjoy the brave new world of Freedom Gardening. I've written lists for years, considering them a necessity for gardening success. And for years I've felt I've let myself down, because items have been left unfinished, or ignored.
Unnecessary Pressure...
And at the end of a day when I've only given myself, for example, four ticks out of seven - well, that's just not been not good enough. Aargh! This is unnecessary pressure, and quite honestly - does my garden feel that I've let it down? It doesn't even notice.
So try the Moosey No-Scary-Lists gardening policy today. Give yourself just one week and you'll notice a huge improvement in your gardening self-esteem, like I have.
