Saint Giles Church Rose Garden
After a month of peering thru the gates on the walk home from work we returned to the St Giles Churchyard.
Deep yellow rose blooms dotted the two small rose gardens. The 'Southwark Garden of Peace' rose garden was planted in 2000.
The spring freshness of our first had been bleached by the advance of summer. The squirrels were still around and some local birdlife remained stationary for long enough to be photographed in silouette of the St Giles Church Steeple.
As a New Zealander living in London I am fascinated by squirrels, badgers and the like - we don't have many small animals running around.
