A few pics, mostly not my garden.
First, my hardenbergia is flowering.

And then some pics of what's flowering at Floriade and Tulip Top and the orchid research greenhouse at the Botanic Gardens which is not usually open to the public but they had such a spectacular display they decided to share.

Lovely pictures... I haven't even got my dahlias out of the ground... it's Autumn here... and already I'm thinking about Spring! Love the tulips and the rhodo!

Thanks for posting such joy.

I see Moosey said it's not too hot.
Well, it is here! 32℃ today, which is 12℃ above average for this month.

Oh no MacFlax! We just had the summer from hell here. We broke many temperature records! It was too hot and very dry on many days. I hope your summer isn't like that. We were affected by El Nino. Does that affect you there as well? Now they're predicting an unseasonably warm winter here on the West coast but cold in Eastern Canada. Who knows what unwanted surprises that will bring?

Hope you have a reasonable summer - not too hot and dry!

Gorgeous!! LOVE all that spring frothiness :)

Yep, we're much warmer than usual here too. Mid-high 20s for 5 days straight. The weeds in my garden and pastures are downright laughing at me. I can hear them growing as I type.

The cherry blossoms have been spectacular this year... more on that soon :)

So nice that the Botanic Garden made an exception and opened for the public. A joy indeed.

Yes, the El Nino affects us too. Today was hot and windy and there were a lot of bushfires further south. :(
About the orchids, I'd never really realised they have a perfume. I've seen orchids before but never so many in one small warm space, it was quite a surprise for the nose walking in there.

Merry Christmas everyone!

(No garden pics, the hot windy weather has wilted a lot of plants and there is a huge pile of prunings right in the middle that we didn't manage to get rid of before the festive season.)
