I know. Oddly I feel a little detached about this loss. It's just that she chose not to live in the house, so I was always visiting her with food, rather than living with her, if that makes sense.

Still we wander down to the hay-barn four or five times a day, just in case she hears me calling or the dogs barking (Lilli loved the dogs). But with a sense of realism. And if she'd lived her life as a feral female (she was a rescued wild kitten) - she'd have had a completely rotten (and shorter) life. And wouldn't have had nine years of warmth, company and food.

And, of course, Lilli may have moved in with someone else. That is what I hope for! Cheers, thanks so much for writing, M

Sorry, but no sign of her still. And the weather has been quite cold. Oh well. M
