unidentified from the UK south coast

hallo,

by now you've realised i aint plant savvy so here is another thing to test your knowledge. this is a bushy thing so its perennial but what kind of soil will he want and how to propagate it. its in a public garden so am hoping to brush past it and tear of a twig or so shame on me. thank for help

It's an Australian shrub - I've got one - I'm not so sure exactly what it is, though. Have a peep at Grevillias and/or Banksias. Best of luck!

It is almost cetainly a Bottlebrush or Callistemon. I don't think it will grow from a cutting, but do a google check. Good luck
