unidentified plant from Hungary

hallo,

hot summer, cold winter. is it an annual or perennial - its owner considers it a weed but i love the thing. thanks for help.

Looks like pokeweed (Phytolacca sp.), but you probably figured this out in the last 4 years. :)

@jhbrooks, Your'e right, definitely a pokeweed. Seen them all throughout Pennsylvania. Don't eat it! :)
