I've never noticed any fruit on the passion flower vine, just empty husks after blooming. I read online that the variety I have has fruits that are "bland, woolly and not worth eating", so I guess I'm not missing much. The flowers are certainly beautiful though.
The Callicarpa berries are such a shocking purple that they look unnatural... a surprise from nature. The picture doesn't really do them justice. I think they may become a deeper colour when they ripen a bit more. I don't think they're edible.
The dahlias are all succumbing to the wind and rain, but from a distance they're still covered with blooms of many colours. I think they still have a few good weeks left before the big job of digging them all up begins. We haven't had frost yet, but it has been very wet, so they won't last long once the temperature drops.
