Yesterday they came out of their room to 'meet' the rest of the family. Dog, puppy, big cats - it takes a lot of courage! Going pretty well, and it makes me much happier. I'm hoping they will turn into good country cats.

Another oops - each morning we walk down the orchard to feed Lilli the haybarn cat. One of the pheasants who lives on the property has had three lucky 'escapes' from the jaws of the dogs. Like a big silly chook, they are, dozing in the grass. And sooooo slow to gain altitude!
Off to the dog park now. Puppy pre-school - and it's raining! is this devotion? Cheers, M

Tiddles and Buster are now 8 months old. This probably turns them into catlets...

Catlets... the equivalent of teenagers... oh no! So glad they're both well and enjoying life. I've always maintained that cats are never (okay, hardly ever) as destructive as dogs, so I'm pretty sure they're not eating your books, stealing socks or digging up your plants... just digging up your seeds and knocking things of your counters and tables. They do learn quickly though!

My two are around 2 and 3 now... maybe 3 and 4... and they both still go completely crazy when it's windy. I love cats! They look so hilarious running madly, leaping in the air and zig zagging about - all with their tails pointing straight up. How do they do it? =D>
