8 Sep '06 7:49 am We had a wonderful guest speaker at our Garden Circle monthly meeting on Wednesday . She told us that she always follows the advice of the late Allan Scott - grandfather of NZ Roses - whenever he sprayed his roses ,he included a teaspoon of Baking Soda per litre of water ,to guard against mildew ,which is so prevalent in our humid climate here .Hope this is helpful .
