Hi ,Bambi ,
I noticed in the 'Snow'' topic that you have a Westie. Well I have /had one too .Sadly ,she passed away a year ago ,and is missed greatly. She was a 'Whitebriar 'westie .The Whitebriar kennels were brought over to NZ from England ,and the line continued. I had Lindy as a companion ,and she would return to Whitebriar to be mated .Her puppies went all over the world -Hawaii ,Sweden ,Australia ,and America .The 'Whitebriar 'kennels have Briar roses at the entrance - a lovely touch .
Dixie.
I am posting a lovely photo of two Westies from a calendar .They have the Whitbriar style.

Dixie,
I'm SO sorry, you must think me really rude not to have replied to your post before!! The truth is, I don't remember ever seeing it before - I always check for new posts but this one must have slipped through the net, so I apologise.
In fact, I don't have a Westie now unfortunately, but I grew up with one and she was called Bonnie Primrose, Primrose being the family name, similar to your Whitebriar. I don't have any digital photos of her I'm afraid. Mum and Dad got her when I was 4 so we grew up together which was lovely. Unfortunately she died when I was 16 which was a very sad time as I couldn't remember a time without her. About a year later, though, my parents got another Westie called Sherry and a Cairn called Misty who both now live with them down in Devon so I only get to see them when I go down there.
My husband and I can't have dogs at the moment as we both work full time, but we have the two cats, Jeeves and Wooster, who are wonderful - in fact, we keep saying that getting the cats was one of the best things we have done as they bring so much happiness to our home. We'll definitely have some dogs one day, but it'll probably be in a few years when we have children and I'm not working anymore (oh joyous day!! )
Bambi
