Chelsea Flower Show 20049 Feb '04 9:25 pm
Mooseyscountrygarden will be visiting the Chelsea Flower Show this year and we're looking for a chelsea regular to give us a tour and ensure our coverage of the event isn't too antipodean. We want to know about the traditions, tales and and stories of years gone by.
Your ticket will be paid for and we have a small tea and cakes budget. Anyone interested?

Yippee! I have three old lady friends who would love to visit the Chelsea Flower Show - of course they would need to fly in from New Zealand. But you'd get fair, unbiased reporting! (We'd like to stopover in Singapore, if that's OK, to check out their Botanic gardens)
Seriously, we've read how the standards for winning prizes at Chelsea are changing back to basics - real gardening with real plants - apparently it used to be arty and quite disconnected with the real gardening world. Is this true? |

I can't wait to hear the report! I watch the flower show on one of our cable stations here -- it looks fabulous! So glad you all are going. |
