11 Nov '07 11:52 am When you write a post you'll see some instructions down the page. The pix can't be too large, and you have to wait while they are uploaded. Try just one for starters.

11 Nov '07 9:37 pm Hi Chicken Boy (cool name, btw! ) and welcome to the forum.
Yes, it's easy to post pics - underneath the box where you type your message, you'll see two smaller boxes - all you have to do is click on the Browse button, find your pic from your hard drive and click Open - it'll then appear in the Filename box and you can decide whether or not to add a note under that pic by typing it in the File Comment box. Then just click Add Attachment and wait for it to upload. Simple as that!
Looking forward to seeing some pics of your chooks, beans and anything else you might grow.

Welcome to the Forum
14 Nov '07 1:47 am Hello, Chicken Boy. Welcome to Moosey's Forum. Don't give up on posting those photos. I love your gate photo avatar. Did you take that yourself or is that one from Moosey's gallery? Posting pictures is not so different from choosing an avatar. Just be patient and wait for the actions to be completed. You will know that your picture has uploaded when the browse window goes blank. Scoll down a little way and you will see your posted photo listed below. Then you can upload another photo if you wish. You can usually post up to 20 photos at a time. Once all your photos are uploaded, then click on Submit. Soon your post will appear with all the photos.

14 Nov '07 10:14 am Yes-it is as Faith advises.I could not understand at first, and Faith told me to just wait each time.As I am on dial-up,I can't hurry the process-it will indeed 'disappear'but that is only temporary while it puts your photo into the system.
If your photo is too large it is difficult to load, but a message will generally come on advising you.
Looking forward to your photos-Moosey has lots of opinions on chooks!there could be some interesting dialogue!
PS-the best place to write and post photos would be in the section'cats and dogs and other animals in the garden'
