Cat Calls
12 May '07 7:50 am About Moosey's foster kittens and reality TV------
Hissy Puss is a grand name, worthy of a character in mythology, and such singleminded devotion to keeping the enemy at bay is equally at home in mythology.
My vote goes for Hissy Puss to stay!
(I mean really - do YOU want to go through life being called Littlest Puss )

13 May '07 8:54 am Blast! This morning Hissy Puss got a compulsory stroking and tickling of the back of the cat - and she started purring! Crumbs, crumbs, just when I thught I had it sussed!
Congratulations. You're still in the running - for becoming - Moosey's Next Top Kitten...

Littlest Puss
13 May '07 8:55 am And regarding Littlest Puss - well, there's a good chance you'd be grammatically correct, some of the time!

The Cat Namer vindicated
27 May '07 4:24 pm Quoth Moosey:
Histeria
Histeria is a black and grey tabby, affectionately known as Hissy Puss. She's the bravest kitten, always first to explore a new situation. And I haven't heard a hiss all week!
Percy
Percy, a dark ginger boy, is the purriest kitten. He's already got huge feet, and he's strong. He and sister Histeria play rough.
Lilli-Puss
Lilli-Puss is the littlest kitten - in fact this was her name until a few days ago. She's a grey tabby, smaller than her siblings, and by far the most smoochy of the three.
What an improvement! Not only are the kittens socialised, but the Head Gardener has proved herself a worthy Namer of Cats. 'Littlest Puss' to 'Lilli-Puss': Why Moosey, that's like getting a distinction from the pupil everyone said should never take Maths!
As for overseas trips: I've just realised that I'll be leaving for Europe just as the pups are ready to leave home... will I return to find myself the owner of one or even two more dogs??? That decision will also have to be made before I leave!
Enjoy your trip! (Has Eggy told you that we are planning to meet up in London?)

27 May '07 5:46 pm Jack, thankyou. And I love your latest puppy pictures. I'm going to miss these little kittens - I leave in - gulp - eight? or nine? days time. I'm sorry I'm going to miss you in London.
