11 Feb '07 9:01 am Hi my name is Angela...I live in South Louisiana. Im on Garden Web as Cajunrosegal. Im 34 and I have 26 roses so far that Ive planted in the last year...well some are in a pot grotto...waiting on the weather to get better.
I lost my house during the storm and had to start over in the rose department. One plus is I have alot of grass to kill. LOL

storm loss
11 Feb '07 11:00 am Welcome,Angela --here I am fussing about a couple of roses and some branches --and you lost your home ! ! ! We see USA storms and tornados on Television ,but can't imagine how it would really be to experience such things ,on such a scale - how long ago did it happen ? You sound very courageous -has your home been replaced ? Best Wishes for your garden plans .

11 Feb '07 6:14 pm Welcome aboard.
How awful to have lost your home. I hope rebuilding is either underway or complete for you.
Good luck with your new garden. While it's hard to start again maybe you'll be able to do something new with it that you were itching to do before. I'm sure it'll look lovely once you're done.

Welcome to Angela
12 Feb '07 3:17 am I do hope you will stick around and join our group. I previously (almost 30 years ago) lived in Baton Rouge for three years, so my husband and I have a special fondness for Louisiana. It was heartbreaking to see the devastation in south Louisiana and all along the Gulf coast for that matter. It is still sad that so many have not yet returned to begin rebuilding their lives. I am happy that you have at least begun. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you. BTW I love your animated Avatar!
