Gone to seed

I love your avatar. I give it a definite 'thumbs up'.
And the convolvulus is gorgeous! I made the mistake of planting mine too near some foxgloves that never flowered but instead put all their strength into the leaves and covered the durn thing up.
You can just see a flower or two peeking out from under.
Not quite the effect I was going for. |

back again23 Apr '07 9:08 am
Hi mark, time has just flown by and I have only just now checked out this thread.
Getting to grips with new tasks on the p.c does give me a few headaches but perseverance does pay off eventually.
Yes, the pansies do seed everywhere, so prolific that I have to weed most of them out.
I must have another try at postint the photo of the 'Elizabeth' clematis. |

named plant23 Apr '07 9:30 am
Hello, Jacqui,
Thanks for your post, you asked what the colourful leaved plant was. I had to think a bit and remember where that white Chrysanthemum was planted as I have several of them dotted around, finally located it in the front border.
It is a dwarf Nandina, common name sacred bamboo. It keeps its bright colours all year around and is well worth a place in the garden.javascript:emoticon(' ')
Smile
Just put in a smiley face thing but it is showing at the moment as a few speech type marks. Will let it go and see what comes out when I post it. |
