new kittens

I am sorry to report that this morning, when I went to visit the kittens (and my friend, of course), I was shown two broken, ripped slippers, with their insides all coming apart. My friend has confessed all - she's been wearing them in the garden when she does tiny bursts of gardening. The kittens (who have grown taller in the last week) are not to blame. And Judith has managed to catch another of the 'wild' kittens - he allowed her to pick him up, so now he is home, cleaned up and eating well, though still very shy. Another B-Puss in character, though with real tiger stripes.

Gardening in slippers - it's almost as bad as gumboots on the carpet...

but in a slipper? I've heard of bunny slippers but kitten slippers? Absolutely to die for.
If I kept every cat that I fell in love with Id be the crazy cat lady...I love animals of all kinds...except Gators..cant seem to get over the willys with those...lol
Not so cuddly...and they give me the creeps!

Dear Moosey, be very careful - be very careful. I know you have a huge soft spot for kittens (and puppies and orphaned lambs and chooks); so visiting new kittens is a dangerous thing for you to be doing.

As for the ripped bedroom slippers, who among us has not ever run outdoors on a quick errand and been "snatched" into the garden by an errant weed. Thirty minutes to an hour later, we wake up from the weed induced trance to realize that we were a) dressed totally inappropriately for gardening (i.e. robe and slippers) or b) left a kettle on that has now cooked dry and almost started a fire. Embarassed
