Dear Moosey, Your new jester flax is stunning and the flower bed by the water race makes me wish I lived closer so I could explore it in person. Our bulbs are above ground but not flowering yet and I can hardly wait. Unreal as it is, snow flurries are forcast for later this week. April this year has been terribly cold. I'm glad to hear that you're doing well and enjoying your garden. I'm sure that you feel it'll be winter too soon, and can think of a million things that you'd like to do before then. LOL Cheers!

WHAT A GREAT SITE! I WAS JUST LOOKING TO FIND A CLIMBING ROSE NAMED 'NEW DAWN' WHEN I WAS CRUISING THE NET AND CAME ACROSS YOUR SITE. YOUR COUNTRY GARDEN LOOKS GREAT. I MOVED TO A NEWER HOUSE WITH A YARD THAT NEEDS EVERYTHING. IT GETS PRETTY HOT HERE IN THE SUMMER MONTHS AND EVERY SIDE OF THE YARD REQUIRES DIFFERENT TYPES OF PLANTS TO SURVIVE. (CITY LIFE IS THE PITS)

Hi there, Was just talking to Barbara Climo (Hornby High) on the phone about gardening and she told me about your site, so here I am. I love gardening myself, but I don't know as much as you do. I am still learning and now that I have finished work, I have many free hours to indulge. It certainly is a fabulous past time. Do hope you are feeling much better since your operation. Sometimes it is a real trial gardening here with the humidity etc, but I try hard. Love your site. Regards, Jan Bending

Hi there, Moosey, I'm glad to hear that you're out and working around in your garden again. Of course fall must be coming your way by now, and soon you'll be able to rest from gardening for awhile soon. Well, after another snowstorm and ice last week, it's sunny now and finally looks as if spring has arrived. Already I've been to a couple nurseries to see their earliest offerings and have bought a couple perennials and some canna roots. Just have to plant them in pots indoors for a few more weeks. I can hardly wait to get out there and play in the mud! I'm off now to do a little tidying up in the garden while the sun's shining. Cheers!

There are eight of us at our monthly garden club meeting in Karl's basement. This month we decided to visit different garden websites, because we can't visit gardens just yet (It snowed two days ago.) Your site is beautiful and we wonder how you find the time to pull it all together, the planting and the teching. Your photos are gorgeous. We looked for a shot of the actual housey and when we couldn't find one decided you just collapse under the hebes with the dogs. (We've never heard of hebes before and are taken with the word.) Thank you for sharing this with the world.

Hi! You may remeber on the 26th of march an email from "Soph and Lea". I thought i'd tell u that i am the Moosey that they were referring to. I am so pleased to have found someone with the same name as me, and all the way in Australia! (I can do a great Australian accent, but maybe you could give me some tips!) love moosey xx |
