I love your site. It feels like my diary with your garden. I too do all that list-making, change things constantly and lots more. This sounds ridiculous, but I feel so much better now I have proof I am not alone! The fact you are in NZ is lovely after I have been longing to go back ever since I left after 5 months in 1997. You have also inspired me to take real photographs of my own garden (which neighbours slow down to see when they go past *proud grin*). Did I mention that yours is one of the best sites I have ever seen for any content or subject? I will stop rambling now, but I spent a month of my life spending all my spare time reading your diary and looking around your garden. After a break, so my husband could remind himself what I looked like, I am back for the rest!!!

Hi, greetings earthlings we are sitting in our technology lesson very bored when we came across your website! By the way we also have a friend called moosey whose actual name is lucy who lives on earth. Your site is absolutely hilarious, and provides us with hours of entertainment. Unfortunately we live underground on the moon and dont have any gardens.Bye for now, soph and lea!

Dear Mary, I'm so glad to be reading your new February diary entries and see that you are still able to garden and are doing it all gently. I think gardening is good for the soul. Have fun! It's the official first day of spring here, and in about a month I'll be able to get my hands dirty in the garden again. I can hardly wait. Jo-Anne

I had to post and say thank you for sharing your garden. I am about to embark on my first flower garden planting adventure. As spring nears and I am seeking growing info on the internet. Yours is by far the best 'trial and error' learning experience I have found. I like how you plant. Lots of tips to get me started. Thank you for a most enjoyable site.

For years your website has been a favourite rainy-day visit..just read your January diary 2003 and wanted to say, hope you are recuperating well.We have recently moved house and now have a mild seaside garden for the first time ever. Lots of New Zealand plants such as phormium and hebe do really well here..time for a new gardening adventure (at 56). New garden is virtually a blank canvas, just grass and concrete.Take care of yourself and get well soonJanet

I just spent a very enjoyable hour touring your beautiful gardens. What a joy to do so in the bleakest part of our winter. I live on the top of a small forested mountain in a new place swept clean by a bulldozer so I have my work cut out for me. Starting totally from scratch is a bit daunting but I'm looking forword, too. Wish me luck! Thanks for the lovely tour.Geanee |
