Hi. I just happened upon your garden while searching for descriptions of roses. I spent several hours touring it and I must say it is very beautiful. Your patios are really lovely, as are your arbors and walkways. I love your watercourse. Your greenhouse looks exactly where one would want to spend time drinking coffee and planting new seeds, etc. Thank you for sharing your diary. I have an acre and a half, and so far have planted 110 rose bushes, as well as many perennials, flowering shrubs, bulbs, and annuals. There is a 40 x 80 foot pond in the front that needs landscaping, so a BIG challenge awaits me. My tiny greenhouse is only 6x6, but I hope to have a larger one next year. I hope you have recovered from your surgery with flying colours and are now back in your garden. I look forward to visiting your garden many times in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading all about your clowder of cats! Your description of the "stomach on legs" brought tears to my eyes as I am the happy life mate of another feline that matches that description.I send deepest regrets for the abismal turn out of your MVC competition, and hope that this years competition is more fruitful!

I love your gardens and pathways and trellis'and just everything! I stumbled in looking for ideas on starting a garden. I'm overwhelmed and don't know where to begin. Your site gave me some great ideas. Will check back often. Thanks!

Dear Mary, Hope you're recovering well from your operation. Bet your garden is looking overgrown and it's driving you crazy not being able to keep ahead of the weeds for a awhile. Your new Jan. 2003 are fantastic. But it sounds like Bob Flowerdew's new book is inspiring you to work all out instead of taking it easier on the garden work. LOL Anyway, get well soon, and happy gardening! Jo-Anne

Hello Moosey! I stumbled across your wonderful website and spent a few hours in your lovely New Zealand gardens. It's so cold and dreary here in New England and I so long to be where you are! I will definitely visit again! Best Wishes and BIG hugs to your animals please...Michele

Just testing Nick's form here as I may 'borrow' some of it for work project. I hope Christchurch in summer is as pleasant as winter in London is miserable. ]I will be back to Godzone THIS YEAR.Can hardly wait. |
