Lovely to meet you, Anna ...19 Dec '06 9:51 am
.... and to see this huge part of your country you own ... goodness sakes. My is a vertible "city garden roof" size in comparison! No, city garden roofs are probably bigger.
I agree with moosey and dixie and have my magnifying glass out (besides having my glasses on!) searching for these weeds! You should be here where we have a problem of the Oxalis (Bermuda Buttercup, ha, ha) invading the Algarve so that you think the country is green with grass and it's this weed that takes over every crack and crevice imaginable!
Love the photos and look forward to seeing more.

Dear Anna! I really loved your work in your garden, and I was especially touched by your daughter's lovely garden! Great gardeners start like this! Just go on, with inspiration and energy non-stop! |

Hmm, think I might need to start a new post all about weedy patches to show off the nightmare that exists in the corner behind my garage - then you'll wonder what you were worrying about!! I, too, have my glasses on and am about 2 inches from the screen, but even your so-called "weedy" picture looks great to me!! I may be a bit slow, but what are those cute little pinky/white flowers? |
