Penjing Tree24 Nov '06 6:18 pm
Hi!
That is a beautiful penjing tree in the picture!! I have several of them which I have been growing for up to 9 years. they range from 3 or 4 cm high to just over 1 metre high. Can you tell me anything more about the tree in your picture?

Hello and welcome, Celllife! I've been following this wonderful thread of yours and noticed that you've posted some lovely pictures of flower borders, etc. Keep them rolling in, my friend! My favourites are picture no. 1162311370 with their dreamy flowers (are they some kind of weed flowers?) trying to reach the sky and your last 2 posts of beautifully created bonsai trees!

Talking about a private garden!24 Nov '06 8:35 pm
Dear Cellife,
Goose completely "covered " me by her reply to you!! But I have to add, that it would be really interesting to name some of the plants you use for creating your new borders : I mean their botanical/scientific names. It would be very useful to us all and could create very interesting discussions in this Forum.
The tree photos you posted are gorgeous!! These tiny captivating Bonsais have always worked a special mystical imagination in me!! To what botanical tree family do they belong?
