4 Oct '06 1:38 am I always have great fun reading the regular Moosey News email, but this time I particularly enjoyed it because of the section on Charles the Merino Ram. No offence to Charles himself (I'm already pre-disposed to like him because he shares a name with my eldest brother ), but I just adored the photo of him with one of the ewes and the baby boy lamb - just like a little family!! Anyway, the main reason for my writing is to make a request to Moosey for:

Lambs that Get Fat
30 Oct '06 9:12 am Ah ha! It is with sad resignation that I write - Haru the pet lamb has definitely gone up a size. But she's oh so brainy! And, unusually for a lamb, she likes her forehead being stroked and tickled. Most lambs are not interested in being patted - where's my bottle? is all they think of their human mothers.
But I will take some up-sized pix for you, Anna! At the moment Haru shares the front paddock with Fred the ex pet lamb - they bleat together. They are a very odd couple! Fred is twice her size, in all respects.
