Hi Moosey! spectacular. I'm so envious! Too aged and tired to garden anymore--just pots on the patio. But dirt under the fingernails is a nice reminder of joys goneby. Love your cherished creatures.Lots of purring going on! Take care and enjoy while you can. Kay

While surfing for gardening centers here in Ontario I happened upon your wonderful and well designed site.My wife and I like to garden in a typical suburban yard 50 feet by 100 feet [metric?] and we have 3 cats. All three of them came from an animal rescue group here in the city.Pumpkin is orange and white short hair, the other two are biological sisters Malmok is grey and white and her sister is a muted calico similar to your Mugsy.Loved your site and the New Zealand phrases like water race.

Wow !! .... truly incredible. Your Son is a * good web-developer (I design websites myself and appreciate how much talent and work has gone into this!) Photography - breathtaking... The gardens - where does one start? Whenever I come across people like yourself with good professional jobs, musical talent, and the time and creativity to develop stunning gardens like these makes me wonder what I am doing wrong. Do you have a 40 hour day over in New Zealand by any chance?? Congratulations and very best wishes to you all. Mike Jackson

While browsing the garden section I checked out your site. It is wonderful. I am a gardener in an area of about 3 months growing season. Tough! Your son did an excellant job. It is in my future to live in NZ (North Island) where I hope to have a spectacular garden, too. Thank you and keep it up Sharyon

Dear Moosey, It was a pleasure to visit your garden. I loved the paths. I myself like a lot of paths, with little surprise around the bends. You sure have put a lot of time and effort into your property. Lovely. Cynthia

Great new sight. Oh for the son to create a web page.Would be a change from the havoc they create x3. Am interested to know of your musical attributes and have you produced any listening jazz. I too play piano but not well, being blessed with voice handed down from generations ago(Like well sown seed!) Have just started working full time and would appreciate any small hint on keeping it under control......Like who prunes the roses and do you mow lawns on or behind the thing? And when do you find time to play with the new technology.Don't have to take time to find the letters but just takes time getting around the sites. Other similarities are our age (as if it matters I hear you say) water thru the garden from an irrigation ditch and either all or none., size and passion about birds bees and normal things. Are you open to view being a reasonable Sunday drive away? Could go on forever Cheers here is to winter and natural bug killing. Cheers Jo.

Eggy and Moosey, You have put together another great site. Your garden, the flowers, paths, seats and pets do make me a little homesick, however. From cold and grey, even in spring, London. Love Sam.

Hello Moosey(and Eggy),I just luv your new page, takes me ages to look through it all, and wonder at the humour and beauty.I have two much loved Burmese cats,Leroy-the-boy and Stella-the-star who follow me around my garden, walk with wet, dirty feet, and then lie on the paper or any GOOD garden book I may be reading at the time!I live in the North Island in the Waikato so my weather and soil is very different to yours-every thing seems to grow to great heights in this wet, drippy, green and moist valley.Would love to hear from you when a spare moment arises - I will keep reading your pages and enjoying it all, regards from another passionate, obsessive gardener,Marcia.

Nice to hear from you again. Wonderful Home Page. Spring is just arriving here and my tulips, hyacinths, and bleeding heart are all beautiful. Next will be the Irises and Peonies. My husband planted "Blue Poppies" and now they have multiplied to about 100 plants. Loretta

I really like your garden. Especially your lovely paths. I and my husband started gardening four years ago just after my husband's retirement. We also made several paths made by stones, lawns, bricks. Your web site is very informative.

Just wondering if we'll ever see more diary entries. I sure hope so, as I find them fascinating in a way I can't really explain. Also wondering if the site has been abandoned, as I get many broken graphics images. I sure have enjoyed this site over the last year or so, even if it hasn't been updated lately. Thanks! |
