26 Sep '06 5:38 am Well what a beautiful garden - I'm sure you missed it when you left it behind, but hopefully your new garden fulfills you just as much.
Is that your little Lindy in the "Cottage Garden" photo, who you told me about before - she's just beautiful and reminds me a lot of Bonnie, who I grew up with.

A toast to former gardens and new ones to come.
27 Sep '06 9:36 am Dear Dixie,
Your gardens were beautiful and I am sure the new ones will be also. You obviously have a great talent for combining plants and giving them the right amount of nurturing.
I love your little dog too. Does he/she have a name? Is it a Yorkie?

6 Oct '06 11:36 am Dixie The garden was so lovely I am sure that you were surely in love with it. Even though you have moved your new garden will be just as lovely with time. It would be very hard to recreate the same garden. It looks like a lot of time and effort went into it.
The really good news is that you do have pictures but more important you have the memories of all the time you spent there. It really is nice to look back to the past and then recall all those great days.
More so for you new garden was a blank slate that was just waiting for your touch to bring it to life with your own visions and special touches. Every plot of land is different as are the challenges but I am sure with your talent that you new garden is even more beautiful than the last and you will enjoy time there that will give you those special feelings of pride for a job well done

6 Oct '06 4:10 pm What lovely expressions of encouragement ;thank you so much ..My little dog is a cheerful West Highland white terrier ,a wonderful companion ... Glenn - I have not been able to access your website since my new security was installed ,to follow your gardens - commercial and your family garden -on my computer ,it keeps blocking it ,telling me it is 'gambling' ( ! )I'll get someone knowledgeable to help sort it .
I didn't know whether to mention it, but the person who bought our home has put a series of tenants in it ,who do not bother with the garden so it no longer exists ,having overgrown ...-trees and creepers still display amongst the general air of neglect .Smiley is allowed to visit to gather walnuts from the tree we planted many years ago . I do not look back .The present brings me joy in every way ..
