November in Moosey's Garden25 Nov '04 2:38 pm
Hi, Moosey. It was a wonderful treat to see all your lovely sping/summer flowers. Especially now that we're having high winds, frigid rains and our first slush on the roads. Terrible weather! So I'm doubly pleased to be able to come here and see nice weather and beautiful flowers. Thank you.
Your puppy, Rusty, is a real sweetheart. I bet he's growing fast now and really keeping you busy. LOL
My garden was put to bed the first week of November, and now I'm hibernating with my winter projects and visions of possible changes in the garden come spring.
Happy gardening, Mary. TTFN Jo-Anne |

Jo-Anne, the puppy is lovely! He has a gentle nature, and loves being picked up. You know how some pups are all squirmy and won't flop properly when you hold them. Rusty pup immediately relaxes and goes completely still. There will be a lot of puppy hugging, and a lot of new puppy photographs, I fear! It's years since I raised a puppy, and I just know it's going to be fun.
Hope your garden has a good winter snooze, and you don't get too bored. I guess you appreciate it more when you're forced into hibernation over winter.
We are heading into summer - which usually means (though it has rained well the last few days)irrigation, irrigation, and irrigation! Why do people (e.g. me) persist in gardening in a ridiculous style which is totally unsuitable to their climate. I'm lucky to have water to use I guess.
Lots of love, Mary |
