Id like to introduce you to two of my friends. This is George & Flymo. They just love to escape into the garden and cause havoc.
But ever so cute

They are lovely, adorable both, Goose! And they do look happy, even with the gate closed!

I guess I know why one's named Flymo - and it's good to see a chap with a strong manly name (George). What breed are they? I can just imagine how they'd LOOOOOVE to free-range in your garden.

George & Flymo12 May '06 9:11 pm
George & Flymo are South African Boer Goats.
They are normally bred for meat but my two guys are here to help with the weedeating. They are great for keeping the gorse and blackberry under control. They are very friendly and love to have little treats every day. They share their paddock with an old Angora goat. This is the last of my Angoras. I bred them for a while but then the bottom fell out of the market and their fleeces were not worth much.
I believe the prices have improved again.Angoras are real sweet as well. Probably will get some more one day.
