Greetings,
I just joined this site this past weekend. My name is Mac, 23. I am currently a student at UAH studying Nursing, and Business Administration in Management Information Systems. I decided to furthur myself by enriching my life with the life of a plant. I went to Home Depot and bought a Pteris 'cristata mayii' and name her "Mya". I would like to thank Liza for the help with my new freind and the information.

I hope that this experiance is fruitful and enlightening. Again nice to meet you guys and thank you for your time.

Good luck for your studies and try stay to sweet-hearted as longer as you can...Be sure , that in this way your plants --at least--will be extremely happy, with their vibrant colours, beauty, and perfect health...

Great that you have decided to grow a plant, and great that you have named it! Perhaps if I named my plants they would grow better? Or perhaps I should just water them more ... Embarassed

Dear Bex, one thing is sure : If you Love your plants and water them accordingly --even without naming them -- you will have happy and healthy plants! I speak out of experience of forty years and more!! We , humans, are the same : If we Love ourselves and the others and treat ourselves and others accordingly, this Love always returns to us in the form of physical, mental, and spiritual health, and harmonious, healthy relationships. The Plant , Animal, and Human Kingdoms are so much alike , aren't they! We all need to be Loved in order to function ...with Love! Isn't it amazing!
