Hi Everybody!
This is such a comfortable site. I immediately felt right at home. I found you from a gardening group on Facebook.
My name is Phoebe and I am an apartment-dwelling urban gardener with a little patch of dirt behind a Catholic girls school about a mile from where I live. (It used to be right across the street, but I've moved - but not too far.)
I've been gardening organically off & on since I was 8 years old. Because I am so connected to the earth (Taurus, you know), I need to play in the dirt fairly regularly.
Thanks for being here. I look forward to getting to know you all. |

I assume that is you in the avatar - if so you are lovely with a fab smile! The rest of us rarely show our faces - I for one would much rather show pictures of nature's bounty than my weathered face!
We'd love to see more of your city plot. I had a tiny garden in London for several years. It was also the tidiest garden I've ever had - it was easy to weed and manage, and all the plants in it had earned their right to be there i.e. they were my favourites. I think Moosey's son has a roof top garden in London
Anyway, I digress... Pics of your garden would be great - we're a very nosy lot! And welcome once again [/b] |

Phoebe, it's great to meet you! And hey - thanks for posting about the seminar, too. What a brilliant idea. It's good to hear about whats up and going on. Lots of us spend a lot of time with our heads down (like me, weeding all these cute little spring weeds with the prettiest little white flowers).
And if you get the time, it would be great to see some garden pix. They can be boring or brilliant - whatever! Cheers, M |
