What a touching lovable story for the new member of your family.I smiled when you wrote about your special cat/human discussions-what language do you use,or is there a special language just for cats. What a contented expression as he settles into the best spots in the house,
Best wishes
Dixie. |

Thank you, Dixie!!!19 Feb '08 7:51 am
He is SOOO adorable, isn't he!!! But he has a soul of a gipsy...He can disappear for a day or two, and then re-appear, full of his personal , loving, cat-style, a little dirtier, maybe..!!! While he is away, my heart is restless...
And, when we talk to our Animals ...and Plants, something magical is being produced!! Yes, we DO talk to each other!!! They speak in their own language, we, in our own -- maybe, a little more tenderly and sweet than usual...!! But the communication is instantly apprehensible on both sides!!! And that's the Beauty of it!! And the blessing of it!!! |

Wow, what amazing flowers!6 Mar '08 5:07 pm
Once again I am late on the uptake. Sorry about that. For the life of me I can't think of what those bulbs are called. I want to say crocus but that seems wrong. Drat. Anyway your spring bulbs are incredible. The gold and the purple (4th one) look like silk. So rich and shiny. And I'm still infatuated with the blue ones (anemonies?). Now that I've found this one again hopefully I'll get email reminders to keep up! Welcome back Liza! |

Dear Liza, your super size heart is sitting squarely on your sleeve. I hope your new cat boy appreciates what a special bond he has formed. I suspect he is still visiting his old family during those absences. They are probably wondering what is tempting him away from home more and more. Animals sometimes seek out new homes when they don't get the loving attention they desire. This is perhaps the case with your new friend.
My own sweet little Emmy cat was a little under the weather this past week while we were having some work done in our home. She had me a little worried, but now seems to have returned to her old self. She is a lap kitty and wants to be on me whenever I sit down anywhere for a few minutes. I miss her when she doesn't feel well and wants to go off alone to rest. Aren't cats wonderful (and dogs too). |

Moraki looks well-contented - he has found the home of his cat-dreams! Such a peaceful look when sleepy, too. And I love the spring blues! Hope you're feeling as springy as your garden is, Lisa! |

Me too. Part of being a forum friend is that you're allowed to come and go, and you don't have to explain why you're away. But still - we do miss you, Liza! Hope everything is OK. |
