It's good to see another wood worker on the forum. I too like to turn my hand to wood.
I especially like the heron.

Dixie look at the white roof well I cut that shape out of 1/2 inch plywood but I dont remember how many I cut(20?) then I nail and glue them together then sand the outside very smooth and the inside enough to make it safe for birds.Thats all there is to it. I have another one with a curved roof made differently and I will post a picture later and explain how I did it.

Garden Gnome the heron holds a 12 inch pot. I'm very impressed with your gnome thats a great job.I do carving myself but have never done that big a job.

Moosey the birds loved them and people love them too and with me having Scottish blood I couldn't resist selling them.I have many birdhouses so the birds dont go without.
