17 Mar '08 7:56 am Oh dear, oh dear. Christopher! A flood of useful non-junky photographs from you! It really makes me giggle, and I wonder what you'd be like if let loose on, say, a 'lifestyle property' of 10 acres? Then you'd have room for shredders and choppers and harvestors and everyone's old tractor, hee hee.
Thanks for brightening up my morning. I simply can't compete with these images of delightful usefulness!

Good grief, Moosey! Don't encourage him!! If he gets any more junk... I mean stuff... I'll never see him again! I'll have to send Storm out to search for him and then she'll probably get lost!

18 Mar '08 6:53 am What a place to finally meet you in person, Debs! And what a lovely avatar and forum name. I must admit that Christopher's pics gave me a whole new insight into winter in a cold climate, not to mention the expression 'toss the left-overs into the freezer'!!

Hi Jack!
18 Mar '08 8:37 pm Thank you for your kind words about my avatar and forum name. I chose both as an homage to the tiger, one of my favorites of the big cats, and to the lily which is one of my favorite flowers.
I have so enjoyed reading the posts here and viewing everyone's pictures. You've all made Chris so welcome and we have both been inspired by all the lovely gardens we've seen here that I decided to join in the fun. I look forward to getting to know all of you and sharing stories and ideas.

19 Mar '08 7:36 am Hi, a.k.a. Deb - it's wonderful to meet the force behind the man, so to speak. This doesn't mean that young Christopher will have to completely tidy up his act, does it?
Seriously, a good life is all about nurturing the real characters. Go for it, useful-junk-hoarders everywhere (including Christopher).
Cheers, and have a great spring. The Moosey Man is just back from 2 weeks in Hamilton near Toronto - 'enjoying' the snow storms, being stuck inside. I reckon that even Jack would sound boring after a Canadian winter!
Cheers and welcome.
