New Year on the "Wet Coast"

Hi, Dixie, and happy New Year to you! Good wishes to your daughter, and enjoy all the lentils, etc. - they make a wonderful tomato-based soup!!

My New Year's dinner was a great success, with many more guests than I anticipated, and we all had a really good time. I ran out of time to make a dessert, but, luckily, one of the guests brought butter tarts which were enjoyed by all!

It's pouring down with rain driven by a stiff wind from the ocean tonight. Hopefully it will remove all the remaining snow by morning!
