How to spell check on the forum
16 Dec '07 7:15 pm As part of reformatting my laptop, I downloaded Mozilla Firefox as my browser. (Despite initial scepticism at its virus-sounding name!) Many people say it is brilliant, much better than Windows Explorer. On downloading it gives you the option of adding a spell check in any one of MANY languages and I could download both Afrikaans and South African English (= British spelling plus some indigenous words).
This morning whilst typing on a post I realised that my spelling mistakes were being underlined in red. What a discovery for a pedantic anal old English teacher!
Switching is easy - Firefox even gives the option of moving your history docs and favourites, so that you continue much as you were but with a slightly different interface which you soon get used to!
