edit ~ ooh... and I just saw some purple iris on the 'random link' off to the right of this forum...they would look pretty

Pond Kit
5 Aug '05 2:28 pm How about some small ferns, hostas and other flowers. The decorative stones that others have mentioned would be lovely too. Hope you'll post a pic of your pond when it's decorated.
We used to have an actual pond but since we moved to this house, we decided it would be safer if we did it differently this time. We have small children living on either side of us so we decided to make a bubbler fountain feature. We bought a huge rock with a hole drilled in it through which a plastic pipe brings the water above and it bubbles up. The rest of the water feature is covered with fist-sized river rocks. The birds and insects, and now even our cats enjoy sipping from the spouting water. We love the sound of the water bubbling up.
