this winter we had a frost the first i have known here, all my soft plants have been burnt in the veg garden the pumpkins were burnt so we had to pull them all most were ripe so i have about a dozen 6kg+ sitting in the pogola my friends have all been enjoing them and the pumpkin soup is yummy.i will have to wait till very thing grows to post picof the garden and all the concrete edging we have done.the mango, banana, choko, passionfruit are the worst affected , but they will come good

I reckon the whole world is having strange gardening weather. Like the other day here, mid-winter, it reachedf 20 degrees celsius, which is balmy for New Zealand. The ski enthusiasts were furious, as all the snow on the ski fields melted. THough they have snow makers, there's nothing quite like the real thing...

Hope your garden doesn't get any more frosts. love that pumpkin soup!

the white one is muffin .she is mother to chippy or chipper as in chipper putter [golf club

They are just gorgeous! Muffin and Chippie - what great names? Do you ever shorten them to Muff and Chip? Oops!
