New Photos Of The Woodland Garden5 Aug '06 12:34 pm
Hi Everyone
I have been a bit busy the last week or so and have not had much of a chance to check the latest posts. I did get a chance to add some more pictures of the woodland garden to my blog.
Someone once told me that before and after shots were not the best way to highlight your work but that the after photo was what was important.
Well I am not trying to sell any landscape jobs so I took a little jog back on memory lane and posted some pictures of The Woodland Garden from 6 years ago and then tried to match it to what it looks like now.
If you care to have a look

I will be heading out for the weekend to the woodland garden shortly but before I head out I will stop in and see how your gardens are doing.
Have a Great Weekend and enjoy some time in your garden. |

before and after5 Aug '06 2:48 pm
One of my favourite parts of this forum is the 'before and after' photos ,and I wish I had taken more 'before 'photos of my home and gardens as I have worked so hard over the last five years we have lived here .I have been working in the fairy garden this afternoon .It was a very messy spot ,with heaps of stones and weeds ,but I didn`t think of a photo at the time .
So ,Glenn , your hard work and vision is appreciated.

A great success story5 Aug '06 8:24 pm
You did right, Glenn in posting the before and after photos. It gives me (a 'clueless' urban folk ) such great pleasure when you share your experiences through your writings and pictures which illustrates the in-depth planning and enormous job involved that eventually resulted in such a beautiful serene place to relax and enjoy. Thanks for sharing your pride.
Just in case you haven't read this post, there's another amazing success story from Goose, one of our forum friend at http://forums.mooseyscountrygarden.com/viewtopic.php?t=772&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 which I've found very fascinating.
Have a great gardening weekend! |

Terrific!14 Aug '06 6:24 am
I too, enjoy the before and after pix. It really shows what you started with and where you have come. I just love the idea of having a garden in the woods like you have.
It looks like a very comfortable place to be.
Christopher
P.S. The parking lot gardens are outstanding! |
