A Moosey news subscriber has emailed :
"how often do i have to feed my rose and how far do i far do i have to prune them back"
Help! I know nothing about caring for roses. |

On this page 1 the topic "Feeding and Mulching Roses". On page 2, "Nina Webull Roses", where there is plenty of useful information about caring for Roses.
But in two simple words:
Pruning : By the end of Winter-beginning of Spring, according to variety (: Hybrid Teas, English Roses, Cover plants, Polyanthas, Floribundas, Climbing Roses, Miniature Roses).
Feeding : Mature compost in Autumn, granular Fertilizer for Roses 3 times during the good season : in Europe -- end of March, end of May-beginning of June, and mid-July, for the very last time before Autumn.
