True gardeners are so generous .On the outskirts of Hamilton city is a property of 50 acres ,planted over 30 years ago with 1500 species of trees from all over the world ....It has now been gifted to the people ,and admission is free .The original owners ,the Mortimers are the authors of 'Trees in the NZ Landscape' ..(recommended) Autumn is such a special time to visit ..there are woodland areas, ponds ,and inviting walking tracks .

I love (!) your photos artisticly, too, Dixie! The colour blue, completing the scenery in the first. It looks like a painting! And the reflexions of still water has always been my favorite theme for photos,....after the flowers, of course...How brethtaking Natural beauty!
