My heart aches for B Puss and Mary28 Oct '07 1:41 am
Oh dear Mary, how sad I feel after reading your latest Journal post. I feel like I have lost another of my dear sweet animal companions. Just remember that you gave him a very happy home in the brief life that he had. |

I just wanted to add my own sympathies, Moosey; when I read your latest journal, I felt so sad. I agree with Dixie that it was a beautiful picture of your boy to remember him by.

So sad, extending my sympathy too, dear Mary. We'll miss him, no doubt. I think he chose a good season to path ways, knowing your fabulously blooming spring garden will continue to cheer your aching heart in his absence. Take care, love!
Off topic - simply love your Percy Wiseman Rhodo, Mary! They have such an amazing color mix, gorgeous!! |

A thought from afar29 Oct '07 9:05 am
Moosey Dear, my thoughts are with you. B-Puss was my favourite of your cats, perhaps because I loved the fluidity of his name... and the wonderful touch of ginger about his whiteness. I too have lost a pet to cancer, and it was a very sad day which I remember clearly, even though it was 20 years ago. |

Thank you all. I've been feeling rather silent during these last B-less days. Hmm... Still, the silly animal life here goes on, with dopey things to giggle about - like the wild rabbit who hides underneath one of my big grey striped hens. And cat-life is as busy and funny as ever. Not to mention the dog!
Cheers, and thanks again. You're all brilliantly good friends. |

Dear missing beloved companion!1 Nov '07 8:10 pm
Oh Mary!!
It is the first time since quite a long period of 3-4 weeks, I have missed reading your journals, which was an everyday habbit for me...
I just know how you loved this adorable guy! You were SO many times repeating in your Journals HOW you loved him! I still have his photo hunging in my computer room, together with his two friends..
My adorable, beloved Moraki died by exactly the same disease - plus his heart problems due to his overweight...When Moraki was gone, my beloved Tina followed , just two years after him... But , you know what?? Just 2-3 days before she started getting really worse, I saw Moraki in my dreams!! He was wearing a snow-white pullover(!!), and was rolling around on the ground playfully -- his tummy up -- like he used to do with me! He looked SO very happy!! The message HE passed to me was that, " I am JUST FINE here, and I have A LOT of fun!!".
And , you know what?? I believe that he does!! I believe that they do!! Animals, too!! oh, yes!!

Thanks Liza. I still miss him peeping out shyly around bushes in the garden. But - how blessed we are to share life with such creatures! Cats are really amazing. |
