Hi Everyone
Just a quick update from thw woodland garden. So far I have encountered no cicadas at all. That really is a blessing as they have emerged all over the Chicagoland area and are really loud ! The birds go darting in front of your car as you are driving in search of these tasty treats.So I have no photos to share of then right now but here is a link to the blog of one of the local newspaper writers and she has some pretty amazing photos just click on the bold words to see them.

The woodland gardens is starting to bloom here are a couple of shots from this weekend

Of course I could not forget my friend Bully he made his apperance over the weekend for the first time this year and my he has gotten big.

I hope you are all doing well and I must close this update now so I can spend some time catching up on all of you as I wander through the forum.

You are so lucky to have an frog for a pet (well, sort of pet) I use to keep tree frogs in a terrarium for a couple of years. I always thought it would be nice to have them around in a natural setting.

He's beautiful.
