New Front Page & other changes16 May '04 7:16 am
I'll be launching a NEW front page tonight featuring less clutter and larger pictures. Let me know what you think.
The number of links on the front page was getting excessive and was well above googles recommended maximums so the random links to pages had to go. While I loved the colours on the old menus I felt it was too listlike, too visually repetitive and it failed to capture the beauty and the depth of mooseys country garden.
I hope that you like the new front page - Let Bex and I know what you think. I'm especially interested in any problems or glitches you see - Moosey's Country Garden is tested in most of the major browsers but some browser specific bugs and blunders are bound to sneak thru.
The load times should be faster for the html but the menu backgrounds are larger than the older menus so the overall load time including images will be longer. Its an image heavy front page.
There's been a couple of other changes :
We've added a MOST RECENT journal link too so regular visitors can bookmark the latest journal. This is my webmasterly way of saying sorry for not having the newsletters going yet
The RSS2.0 / XML news feed is up and running. I'll add a page on this to the NEWS section when I have the time. |

Look Really Good16 May '04 8:10 am
The first thing I noticed today was the nice new look. Very classy!
I've always admired your site - even to the the extent of doing a very derivative site for the the NZ Garden Swap group http://nzgardenswap.8m.net/ The latest front page is a winner in my eyes. |
