Some of the Dublin Bay roses look worse than dormant (after my attacks with the loppers). I had rust trouble with them last summer, too (not a good disease for a non-sprayer). Hmm... I wonder if these noble and supposedly no-nonsense roses will return to the land of the living this year? Eek! |

Worse than dormant-do you mean like DEAD!!!!
I have a Bantry Bay that I inherited from my Mum as she gave up on it that had bad rust and everything else roses get so I planted it,gave it a good dose of horse manure fert. and them sprayed the living daylights out of it and now it is doing well.
Hope your Dublin bays are okay. |
