11 Feb '07 2:00 am Thanks to Liza for sharing those adorable photos. Baby animals are so precious at any time, but seem especially so when sleeping. They look so relaxed and serene. Last night my big dog Willie was sleeping on the floor in the den while my husband and I were reading. At one point he rolled over onto his back like that and slept sprawled out with legs in the air. My husband commented that it was nice to see he felt so safe and secure in our home that he could relax like that. I think we feel about our animals like they are extra children. Yes?

11 Feb '07 6:19 pm Last night was too hot for Scruffy to sleep on my lap so he wriggled his way down the couch and ended up on his back looking very like the 2nd and 3rd pictures.
It's moments like that you wish you had the camera handy.
