If You See Anything Dodgy...3 Oct '06 9:30 am
Perhaps a timely request for the forum friends all to help - just in case any of you see dodgy, inappropriate posts that the official team have missed. The only hot things allowed on this website are colours, and daytime temperatures in our gardens!
Please e-mail me immediately you spot anything you know shouldn't be here on our forums. Mind you, it might be difficult to decide whether or not the topic 'Hot Gardeners' is OK. Just joking!
It's like a family, where we all care about each other, and respect our family forum space. Thanks so much. |

Hi Moosey,
I've just spotted a "dodgy" post in the General Gardening Chat section of the forums. It's one of those "hottest mum" thingys again.
Sorry I'm telling you this way, but I'm not actually entirely sure how to email you as you say here!

Hi Moosey and Eggy,
I've just noticed something that looks very dodgy and nothing to do with gardening or nature. Someone calling themselves encetenmo9 has replied to about ten posts with a link to a web site which I don't think many of us will want to see.

Me too .It is hard to believe that in such a gentle ,kind forum someone would be so depraved and malicious as to bring poison in.

Me too. Huge apologies to everyone about the delay in removing the nasty stuff, too.
And huge thanks to everyone for being so pro-active, and writing in. You are all legends, and I am very proud of the caring you show. |

Thanks to everyone for the heads up unfortunately I was in transit when moosey phoned me. Should be all gone now. I'm taking some more steps to stop this happening in the future. Moosey's Oxalis analogy is a good one!
Happy gardening. |
