Do Painters shift Pots ?26 Sep '06 4:23 pm
Reading Moosey`s latest journal ,the question is posed "Do Painters shift Pots?"
That depends on their Infinite Wisdom ,dear Moosey .You see ,in a little street in the capital ,the local council workers were spraying tar all along the edges where the seal meets the footpath .
I spied a couple of local residents looking glumly at their empty rubbish bin which had been left on the footpath . - guess what ,it had been included in the tar spraying programme. ....Duh ! ! ....

Panters Do Shift Pots!28 Sep '06 9:17 am
I am pleased to report that painters do indeed shift pots, and patio chairs, and ormanental stones, and gumboots, and dog blankets, and cat plates - very carefully, actually! They also rip out self seeded Campanula growing along the houseside of back paths (not so good), and weed out large dandelions growing in path edge cracks (very good). They can bend big roses carefully overr, too (Mutabilis).
My cats are not so impressed with two days of waterbasting, and strange men stomping all over ther roof. Aargh!
Perhaps the painters water blasted the dandelions away? Weedng - and watering - in one gardening action. Hmm...
