I'm considering creating an RSS / XML news feed on this site for visitors with RSS news readers.
How many of you know about RSS news feeds?
How many of you would use this feature? I'm a supporter of the technology and want to promote it here. |

If you don't have a clue what RSS is or what I'm on about - ignore this post and get back to the gardening 
The RSS link above summarises the most recent updates to the site in a format RSS readers can recognise - Its the RSS equivalent of our news page.
There are still a few errors to iron out (moosey's cryptic spellings and wierd characters!) but when I'm done it should read fine in most RSS news readers. I'm not sure whether to add thumbnails or not - The use of images doesn't seem right. I'll have to do some more reading and see what others are up to.
A Gardening Webmasters job is never done...
When its finished properly I'll let you know and I'll post some detailed information about what RSS is all about together with a quick tutorial on its use. |
