WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL PHOTOS!!!20 Aug '06 10:38 am
Welcome home Lisa! I am so thankful that your garden has responded to Nature's reprieve. Things are looking beautiful again and will continue to improve with your hard work and TLC.
Your photos are breathtaking! I love traveling through other peoples’ pictures. It’s the next best thing to going in person. Looking forward to more.
Take care...

Thank you , one million times!21 Aug '06 5:17 am
Hello, dearest friends! I am so thrilled that you enjoy so much sharing with me this trip! It is the first time in my life actually, that I was feeling such a special joy taking these pictures! I was thinking, "Oh, they would love so much to be here! To see this, to share that..!". I think this is actually the feeling we have with our loved ones, every time we experience alone and not with them something exceptional...Thank you, because this feeling of sharing is so soothing , so special, really...
FAITH: Welcome to this site , dear Faith! I loved all your posts I've read so far! You seem to become one of the eternal members of this site...Yes, that little house in our garden is a garden shed! But not that... romantic inside.. It is a ware house actually, quite neat for the time being, full of empty pots and garden equipment. And yes! Corfu is a romantic, nice island, a precious Earthly Garden.. I wish you to realize your dreams to go there !
DIXIE: Thank you for the welcome, dearest! Yes! I have started sharing more with you in the "Garden Tours" section of our site. But before I go on in there, I just wanted to reply all your sweet, welcome posts!
GOOSE: Hi, again , my friend! Yes, I did needed this break with my loved ones, because these last months were full of family problems..We are only humans...One needs to be filled again with the Beauty...It is equally essential and powerful with material food for our souls and bodies...And my pots were watered by a nice young neighbour lady friend, who also fed my last remaining cat in the house...My beloved Tina cat died of cancer last July...She was 17 and had never been ill...Now only my Jeany is alive.
JACK: Thank you , my good friend Jack! I think all places of our Earth are magical. But in Europe there is such a variety and diversity, and that is why it becomes so interesting! My garden has recovered but is badly attacked by weeds , especially of a suffocating type of vine, that has horrible widely spread roots looking like thick spagetti pasta...A lot of Autumnal garden work awaits me, weeding, compost spreading, transplanting, multiplying, cutting back...Wish me luck...
PUMKIN: Thank you , my friend!! I have always loved the special adorable way of your"howdy" expression! It fills me with tenderness and joy! I will never forget you were the first to welcome me to our site more than a year ago! Thank you so much!! I hope you will pass some happy moments with my trip stories and photos in the "Garden Tours".
NORVONA: Oh, thank you, my friend, and welcome to our site! It seems you are also going to become a ..."family" member of this beloved site! I hope you will enjoy some more photos of this trip in the "Garden Tours" section. |
